Olympus RS-27N Foot Pedal

Three-Pedal Foot Control for ODMS Transcription

The RS-27N is a USB foot switch from OM System, the maker of Olympus dictation products. It lets transcriptionists play, stop, and rewind dictation with their feet, so their hands never leave the keyboard. It is built for the ODMS R8 Transcription Module and ODMS Cloud.

Key Features

• Three configurable pedals: Control playback and navigation without touching the mouse.
• Works beyond ODMS: The free Footswitch Configuration Tool lets you set each pedal to a keyboard shortcut or hot key used in other transcription programs.
• Non-slip base: Stays in place under your desk.
• USB connection: Plug in with the 6-foot (1.8 m) cable.

Need a Fourth Pedal?

The RS-31N adds a fourth pedal for extra functions, such as playback speed. If you’re buying a full setup, the OM System AS-2700 Transcription Kit includes the RS-27N, a headset, and ODMS R8 transcription software.
